Manager, Enterprise Communications – Channels

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Design and implement employee communication initiatives that engage, inform, and align employees with Amentum's business goals, leadership, and culture.

• Act as a reliable communications advisor to corporate functions and business leaders.

• Convert complex information into clear, persuasive, and actionable employee communications.

• Assist in enterprise communication strategies, content governance, employee engagement campaigns, leadership events, and organizational change efforts.

• Compose, revise, and disseminate announcements, newsletters, leadership communications, organizational updates, and intranet content.

• Create talking points, presentations, and briefing materials for executives and leaders.

• Develop and implement communication and engagement strategies for enterprise initiatives, HR programs, organizational changes, employee experience projects, and business priorities.

• Oversee editorial calendars, content timelines, communication activities, and project schedules.

• Facilitate the adoption and enhancement of digital workplace tools, employee communication channels, and AI-driven capabilities.

• Execute intranet upgrades, platform enhancements, and improvements in communication technology.

• Design and utilize automation and AI tools to enhance content creation, publishing workflows, and operational efficiency.

• Manage daily publishing for intranet, email, and other employee-facing platforms.

• Uphold content governance standards, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, mobile-friendliness, and user experience across all channels.

• Coordinate communications and logistics for all-hands meetings, town halls, leadership conferences, employee forums, and engagement events.

• Create event communications, presentations, promotional materials, and summaries post-events.

• Monitor communication performance metrics, readership, engagement trends, and employee feedback.

• Generate reports and suggest improvements for content, channels, and processes.

• Undertake additional communications-related tasks as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related discipline.

• Typically possesses 7-10 years of experience in employee communications, corporate communications, public relations, internal communications, or a similar field.

• Experience in supporting leadership communications, employee engagement initiatives, and organizational change communications.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Familiarity with intranet platforms, content management systems, email communication tools, and digital collaboration technologies.

• Proficient in Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, and associated communication tools.

• U.S. Citizenship is required; applicants must be U.S. Citizens.

• Willingness to travel occasionally, less than 10%, to the Chantilly, Virginia area for on-site work.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with editing, proofreading, and storytelling abilities.

• Strong editorial judgment and meticulous attention to detail.
