This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Guarantee that every DGX platform is equipped with the complete NVIDIA software stack—firmware, DGX OS, GPU drivers, CUDA toolkit, DCGM, DOCA/OFED, and management tools—as a validated, production-quality solution.
• Take ownership of the GA SW/FW release process by delivering firmware bundles, BaseOS ISOs, and release notes to OEM/OSV partners.
• Ensure platforms are compatible with AI agents such as NemoClaw, Hermes agents, NIM microservices, and the workloads customers anticipate out of the box.
• Spearhead the development of the manageability firmware stack (BMC, BIOS) for all DGX platforms.
• Confirm that firmware from partner teams (GPU, CPU, networking) integrates seamlessly at the system level.
• Establish a validation strategy demonstrating that each DGX platform is production-ready: conducting end-to-end system validation including firmware regression, NVQual certification, DL workload performance, OS/CUDA stack testing, multi-user scenarios, power/thermal validation, and field upgrade reliability.
• Set quality gates and uphold a zero ship-stopper discipline.
• Drive the platform bring-up for every new DGX system—coordinating the initial boot across new silicon (CPU, GPU), board design, and firmware teams.
• Own the architectural strategy for next-generation platforms, focusing on firmware update mechanisms, system security posture, and AI application readiness.
• Ensure that firmware release processes align with CSP and enterprise deployment requirements.
• Represent DGX platform readiness during executive reviews and strategic planning alongside VP/SVP leadership.
• Collaborate with industry standards bodies (DMTF Redfish, OCP).
• Manage the complete DGX delivery lifecycle—system architecture, firmware development, integration, full-stack validation, GA release, and customer deployment—for every DGX product.
• Act as the single point of accountability for DGX platform readiness across NVIDIA—aligning GPU, CPU, networking, security, OS, and AI software teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee RCCA processes for field issues.
• Manage external vendor partnerships (AMI for SBIOS, BMC contributors) with clear quality gates and program tracking.
• Build and lead a world-class engineering organization.
• Mentor and develop future leaders.
• BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of experience in systems firmware/software engineering, including 5+ years in engineering leadership roles.
• Profound expertise in server system stack encompassing SBIOS, BMC, OS, applications, and system-level integration of complex multi-component products.
• Demonstrated success in delivering multi-generation server or data center platforms from architecture to customer deployment.
• Experience managing engineering organizations across multiple geographies within a matrix environment.
• Strong understanding of server hardware: CPU, GPU, interconnect, memory, PCIe, and power delivery.
• Proven experience in owning end-to-end product quality—from firmware validation through full-stack system testing to field deployment.
