This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manages and directs the team of Insurance Trainers/Specialists.
• Accountable for the overall effectiveness of training provided to field and clinic personnel.
• Leverages expertise and knowledge in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management and Insurance.
• Delivers training and ongoing support to practice staff and various support personnel.
• Acts as a Subject Matter Expert in the Insurance Services Department across several practice management systems.
• Creates training materials and communications pertaining to Commercial Insurance, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid plans.
• Possesses an understanding of how vendors and technology interact within the revenue cycle to assist practices.
• Dental Insurance Experience is mandatory to be considered.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of ten years of experience in commercial insurance or Medicaid is preferred; dental experience is also preferred.
• Experience in a dental practice or within the dental field is preferred.
• Capable of interpreting and effectively communicating insurance regulations.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in facilitating training sessions via telephone, in-person, and/or web-based platforms.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized, meticulous, and detail-oriented.
• Adaptable; adjusts work schedule easily to accommodate changes in the work environment and manages competing demands effectively.
• Skilled in prioritizing, planning work activities, and formulating reasonable action plans.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiar with a Microsoft Windows environment.
• Experienced with dental or medical software; Dentrix and Eaglesoft are preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Capable of identifying the development needs of affiliated auxiliary practice staff.
• Knowledgeable in designing and delivering training course material.
• Must possess robust skills in interpersonal communication, analysis, critical thinking, attention to detail, multitasking, and both oral and written communication.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
