This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.
• Accountable for the operational line management of the Corporate Sales Engineering Team, encompassing performance evaluations, annual reviews, coaching, and development.
• Provides direction to Corporate SEs regarding company policies.
• Suggests modifications to policies and establishes procedures that influence the immediate organization.
• Leads a team responsible for updating and delivering regional training to sales personnel.
• Manages customer interactions from a pre-sales technical standpoint, addressing inquiries and resolving issues as they arise.
• Collects feedback through follow-ups with Sales Account Managers on sales calls.
• Ensures that team members receive sufficient technical training on all related products.
• Develops and delivers technical training for partners on related products as necessary.
• Collaborates with sales management to optimize the efficient utilization of technical resources.
• Proficiency in both Dutch and English is essential.
• Experience in line management, including overseeing remote teams.
• Background in pre-sales technical or technical roles.
• Familiarity with market challenges and trends impacting business and the use of IT.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities.
• Capacity to influence management teams at the departmental level.
• Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• Experience collaborating with channel partners.
• Background in the IT security sector is preferred.
• Must possess pre-sales experience along with excellent technical knowledge in networking and/or security.
• Knowledge of various hacking and exploitation tools and methodologies, common malware types, and Anti-Virus/IDS/IPS evasion techniques.
• Extensive knowledge and experience across a variety of IT technologies and security solutions.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, CEH, etc., are advantageous.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks methodically and with discipline.
• Capable of setting and managing expectations with both senior stakeholders and team members.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage a diverse range of external audiences, including senior executives.
