
Manager, Cash Management – Accounts Receivable

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead, nurture, and guide professionals in Accounts Receivable, Cash Application, and Collections.
• Set performance expectations, carry out performance assessments, and develop employee growth plans.
• Promote accountability, continuous improvement, customer orientation, and teamwork.
• Propel employee engagement and talent development programs.
• Manage daily cash application, collections, resolution of unapplied cash, and reconciliation of customer accounts.
• Track accounts receivable aging and implement strategies to minimize delinquent balances and enhance cash flow.
• Direct month-end and quarter-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable and cash.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for automation, standardization, and optimization of processes.
• Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives, including system upgrades and robotic process automation (RPA).
• Formulate and enforce best practices and process controls.
• Assist in ERP implementations and finance transformation projects.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP, corporate accounting policies, SOX standards, and internal control measures.
• Support both internal and external audits.
• Maintain oversight of customer account management and cash handling procedures.
• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with at least 7 years of related experience.
• Alternatively, a minimum of 13 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• At least 8 years of progressive experience in Accounting, Cash Management, or Order-to-Cash operations.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of leadership experience managing professional teams.
• Strong grasp of accounting principles, financial controls, and working capital management.
• Proven experience in leading process improvement and transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or PeopleSoft.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement certification is preferred.
• Experience in Global Business Services is preferred.
• Background in government contracting and complex billing environments is preferred.
