This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +26 more states.
• Contribute to the formulation of the Clinical Programs' strategy and planning in alignment with the organization's mission, strategic objectives, federal and state laws, and accreditation standards.
• Support the selection, training, evaluation, and professional development of paraprofessional and administrative team members.
• Lead Care Management teams to ensure effective job performance, which may encompass case management and delegated management oversight.
• Engage in the development and monitoring of budgets that align with departmental and organizational goals.
• Involved in the creation, execution, and assessment of departmental performance standards, employing quality improvement methodologies to enhance procedures.
• Cultivate a collaborative work environment that promotes team building and fosters cohesive, synergetic Case Management functions, while appreciating the individual diversity and uniqueness of all employees.
• Establish and maintain cooperative business relationships.
• Participate in processes and activities to guarantee operational compliance with regulatory requirements, including NCQA and OIC.
• Provide effective oversight and developmental support to team members to achieve productivity and meet expectations.
• Promote team building initiatives so that members feel connected to one another and the broader department.
• Manage deficits effectively with improvement plans and consistent follow-up.
• Utilize data effectively to monitor performance, identify opportunities, and address issues and opportunities in a timely manner.
• Candidates possessing an RN License are highly preferred.
• Current state credential (e.g., licensure) enabling the professional to conduct assessments independently within the discipline's scope of practice (Required): • For nurses, required registration (e.g., RN, ARNP). • For behavioral health professionals, required licensure (e.g., LMFT, LICSW, LPC, LMHC) • For psychologists, required board certification • For dietitians, required certification as a nutritionist or dietitian • Or licensure in a related healthcare discipline.
• Certification in CCM (Certified Case Management) or the ability to obtain certification within 24 months of hire (Required).
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in case management or healthcare (Required).
• A minimum of three (3) years of management experience (Required).
• An advanced degree, such as a Master's Degree in a Health-Related field, is preferred.
• Familiarity with NCQA, URAC, or accreditation review processes.
• Experience in continuous process improvement and innovative problem-solving methods (e.g., LEAN, Synectic).
• Advanced training in Motivational Interviewing.
• Experience in training both clinical and non-clinical staff.
• Experience in managing case management teams and integrated case management models.
