This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Plan and oversee assigned engagements.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the client’s business operations.
• Review all workpapers thoroughly.
• Assess financial statements for accuracy and completeness, including accompanying note disclosures.
• Analyze balance sheet accounts and prepare reconciliations.
• Conduct daily posting of cash transactions and ensure timely cash reconciliations.
• Carry out periodic internal audits on specific activities to ensure adherence to internal controls.
• Research and facilitate the resolution of issues that arise during engagements.
• Engage with key client management to gather information, resolve issues, and provide recommendations for business and process enhancements.
• Actively participate in the professional development of staff members.
• Conduct staff evaluations.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field is required.
• 3-4 years of experience as a senior accountant, including experience in a BPO practice or with an external accounting service provider.
• Advanced computer skills and proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel.
• Committed to delivering exceptional client service.
• Strong project management, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to supervise multiple engagements simultaneously.
• Capable of multitasking and completing engagements within set timeframes and deadlines.
