This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Lead, mentor, and support a team of locum recruiters by providing onboarding, coaching, performance management, and ongoing development.
• Oversee the complete locum recruitment process for physician and CRNA staffing requirements while achieving individual recruiting production targets.
• Collaborate with locum agencies, staffing vendors, regional leadership, and hospital stakeholders to facilitate provider placements and meet staffing priorities.
• Track recruiter productivity, recruiting activities, and staffing advancements to ensure team objectives and service standards are met.
• Supervise the locum placement process from candidate presentation to onboarding and start dates of assignments.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with providers, vendors, and internal stakeholders while ensuring high levels of customer service and responsiveness.
• Employ Vendor Management Systems (VMS), applicant tracking systems, and recruiting platforms to oversee candidate activity and placements.
• Work in conjunction with credentialing, operations, and compliance teams to ensure successful provider placements and timely onboarding.
• Provide regular updates on recruiting activities, staffing challenges, market trends, and current placements to leadership.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives within the recruiting team and staffing processes.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of healthcare recruiting experience is required.
• Prior experience in locum tenens recruiting is necessary.
• Anesthesia recruiting experience is preferred.
• Previous leadership, mentoring, or team lead experience is advantageous.
• Experience in a healthcare staffing or locum tenens environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in using Vendor Management Systems (VMS), applicant tracking systems, and recruiting technologies is required.
