This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Administer and oversee employee benefits programs, which include health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, leave programs, and voluntary benefits.
• Collaborate with brokers and vendors to assess plan performance, manage renewals, and pinpoint opportunities for cost containment and optimization.
• Ensure adherence to ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, and other relevant regulations.
• Supervise HRIS benefits modules and associated processes.
• Maintain documentation necessary for public company audits and regulatory compliance.
• Manage benefits reporting, including EEO and ACA reporting and all required filings.
• Keep abreast of changing laws, regulations, and market trends that influence benefits programs.
• Act as a subject matter expert and resource on benefits.
• Provide guidance, support, and training to HR partners and people leaders.
• Lead initiatives related to employee benefits education and communication.
• Assist with additional projects and responsibilities as directed by leadership.
• Over 5 years of experience in benefits or total rewards roles.
• At least 2 years of experience in team leadership.
• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required.
• CBP, CEBS, or SHRM-CP certification is preferred.
• Proven experience in designing and/or administering employee benefit programs.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and benefits administration tools.
• Experience in a mid-sized or large organization is preferred.
• Background in a public company environment.
• Experience managing legal, regulatory, reporting, and filing obligations.
• Qualified remote candidates must reside within the United States.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screenings.
• Must provide valid U.S. work authorization documents for E-Verify.
• Satisfactory results from pre-employment background checks are required.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is necessary.
• Ability to read documents, operate a computer, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when needed.
• Capacity to move within office, warehouse, and construction site environments.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
