Manager, Application Development Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversees team members responsible for the design, development, and implementation of intricate enterprise software solutions.

• Works in close collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including data modelers, architects, business analysts, data stewards, and subject matter experts (SMEs).

• Functions in a leadership role within large-scale Application Development projects and programs.

• Directs the establishment or enhancement of coding standards initiatives.

• Reports on application progress and outcomes.

• Offers coaching and career development guidance to junior Application Developers.

• Manages the coordination of work for 3rd party Development teams.

• Identifies, assesses, and participates in the mitigation and control of risks.

• Ensures continuity with Application and Infrastructure Management operational groups during the service transition.

• Collaborates with Security and SRE teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree and over 5 years of relevant experience is required.

• Alternatively, equivalent experience gained through relevant knowledge, responsibilities, and competencies matching the level of this position.

• Proficient in Application Development and Applications Architecture.

• Familiarity with DevOps industry best practices.

• Experience with .NET technologies.

• Knowledge of Microservices architecture.

• Competence in AWS cloud services.
