This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Assist in the governance of the enterprise AI Risk Management program.
• Implement and improve KeyBank's AI risk management framework, risk assessment procedures, governance controls, and compliance oversight activities.
• Collaborate across various business units, technology, model risk, compliance, legal, information security, third-party risk management, and operational risk functions.
• Direct comprehensive AI risk assessments and deployment readiness evaluations.
• Maintain governance documentation, reporting, ongoing monitoring, reassessments, remediation actions, and risk-related decisions.
• Manage business requirements and enhancements for AI risk management processes within an enterprise GRC platform.
• Work alongside technology teams to create workflows, scoring systems, reporting mechanisms, evidence management, and automation features.
• Oversee testing, validation, implementation, and readiness for production of the AI risk workflow.
• Apply a recognized AI risk management framework for financial services and align it with enterprise processes.
• Coordinate control mapping, gap analysis, ownership, remediation efforts, and evidence standards.
• Convert framework requirements into policies, procedures, controls, implementation plans, and leadership reports.
• Lead initiatives related to AI-enabled governance, risk assessment, and workflow automation.
• Set governance requirements, decision gates, human oversight, testing, and monitoring for agentic AI solutions.
• Propel the AI governance strategy, operating model, policies, standards, and accountability frameworks.
• Create metrics, risk indicators, dashboards, inventory controls, and management reporting.
• Act as the main liaison among risk disciplines and first-line business partners.
• Organize working groups, governance forums, and operating committee meetings.
• Foster relationships with senior leaders across Risk Management, Technology, Compliance, Legal, and business units.
• Encourage accountability for risk remediation and implementation of controls.
• Experience, skills, and qualifications that are adequate to carry out AI risk management governance responsibilities (specific minimum requirements are not outlined).
• Capability to lead comprehensive AI risk assessments, including evaluating inherent and residual risk, conducting independent reviews and challenges, and assessing deployment readiness.
• Proficiency in coordinating across business, technology, model risk, compliance, legal, privacy, cybersecurity, third-party risk, and operational risk functions.
• Understanding of AI risk management frameworks, governance controls, regulatory oversight, policies, standards, and procedures.
• Ability to design and improve enterprise GRC workflows, encompassing scoring, reporting, evidence management, and automation.
• Skill in leading testing, validation, implementation, and production readiness efforts.
• Ability to establish governance requirements, decision gates, human oversight, testing, and monitoring for agentic AI solutions.
• Competence in developing metrics, risk indicators, dashboards, inventory controls, and management reporting.
• Ability to facilitate working groups, governance forums, and operating committee meetings.
• Capacity to drive accountability for risk remediation and control implementation.
