This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Promote and sell insurance products and services through both inbound and outbound channels.
• Identify client insurance needs and offer customized solutions using a consultative, client-centric approach.
• Drive sales growth, achieve personal targets, and ensure an exceptional client experience.
• Enhance premium growth through cross-selling, referrals, and client retention strategies.
• Adhere to authorized scripts, processes, and established procedures.
• Manage complex cases and high-value sales.
• Deliver superior client service and experience.
• Develop solutions and recommendations aligned with business strategy and stakeholder requirements.
• Provide guidance and advice on the implementation of solutions.
• Apply for and/or maintain necessary licenses while fulfilling continuing education and Errors & Omissions Insurance obligations.
• Support strategic initiatives with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Cultivate stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment of objectives.
• Analyze strategic issues, data, and information to generate insights and recommendations.
• Respond to technical life insurance inquiries from licensed agents.
• Develop program scripts, address objections, and provide training.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to sales.
• Design and implement training tools and programs, including the delivery of training.
• Assist in achieving the business plan and enhancing the client experience.
• Perform administrative tasks such as generating sales reports and following up on pending business.
• Operate largely independently and apply judgment to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Utilize BMO’s Risk Management Framework to make risk-informed decisions consistent with policies, laws, and regulations.
• Generally, 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must satisfy licensing and certification requirements for the team, branch, and jurisdiction.
• For Life Insurance products: Life License Qualification Program (LLQP), RIBO, or Level 2 license in Ontario/Quebec equivalent.
• For Other Than Life (OTL) Insurance products: Valid OTL insurance license in Ontario and/or Quebec, with a commitment to work toward the A&S/LLQP license within 3 months of employment.
• Experience in a call center environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with life insurance products, applications, laws, compliance, and regulations.
