
Manager, Actuarial – Personal Lines

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +5 more states.
• Assemble and guide a high-achieving team with extensive knowledge across designated states
• Provide actuarial insights to support rate adjustments and significant business initiatives
• Evaluate the impacts on revenue and expenses of both rate and non-rate measures
• Convert intricate data into straightforward, data-driven recommendations
• Supervise and engage in complex quantitative analyses and modeling activities
• Independently verify analyses through reasonability assessments and error detection
• Effectively communicate findings and strategic suggestions to colleagues, business partners, and senior leadership
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure actuarial strategies are aligned with overarching business objectives
• Guide, mentor, and assist your direct reports
• Over 7 years of actuarial or related experience
• ACAS designation or nearing completion
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional expertise in a specialized area
• Strong capabilities in actuarial analysis, analytics, and programming (proficiency in SQL is required)
• Proven track record of executing and managing complex analyses and projects
• Demonstrated effectiveness in communicating with business partners and senior leadership
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
• History of driving process enhancements and improving methodologies.
