This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +45 more states.
• Develop fundamental pricing factors and assumptions utilized in NA/PEX pricing.
• Maintain pricing tools and assist in their enhancements.
• Conduct ad hoc pricing studies and fulfill requests from business partners.
• Monitor emerging results.
• Collaborate with Underwriting to explore plan sponsor pricing opportunities for both new and renewal business.
• Work with other departments to provide support on pricing assumptions.
• Assist in pricing, forecasting, and financial management for fully insured business.
• Analyze extensive data sets and contribute to strategic business decision-making.
• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science is strongly preferred; degrees in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Chemistry, or a closely related quantitative field will also be considered.
• 0-1 years of relevant experience required.
• Actively pursuing ASA designation with 1-2 exams completed.
• Experience with large and detailed data sets.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong technical, analytical, and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Organized, data-driven, statistically minded, and detail-oriented.
• Self-motivated and intellectually curious, with a commitment to continuous process improvement.
• Adaptable as business needs and priorities change.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in actuarial science or a related field.
• Completion of 1-2 actuarial exams.
