β€’ Establish and nurture relationships with clients and senior leadership.

β€’ Lead extensive, cross-functional projects for clients in the health sector.

β€’ Deliver presentations to clients, addressing their inquiries.

β€’ Cultivate a robust client portfolio through networking, writing articles, engaging in public speaking, and utilizing various marketing strategies.

β€’ Recognize client challenges and determine the resources required for effective problem-solving.

β€’ Organize project plans, pinpoint deliverables, adhere to timelines, and guarantee compliance with quality standards.

β€’ Collaborate with consultants, managers, and analysts to produce client reports and deliverables.

β€’ Evaluate analyses and convey project outcomes to clients.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative discipline.

β€’ ASA accreditation from the Society of Actuaries (SOA).

β€’ Over 7 years of experience in health actuarial roles or similar positions within a consulting firm or health insurance organization.

β€’ A minimum of 3 years' experience in Medicaid managed care, gained within the last three years.

β€’ Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and a solid understanding of actuarial principles.

β€’ Proven experience in project management.

β€’ Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

β€’ Strong analytical skills for evaluating analyses for effective client communication and understanding downstream impacts.

β€’ Familiarity with managed Medicaid programs, preferably in developing managed Medicaid capitation rates for state agencies.

β€’ Experience in mentoring colleagues.

β€’ Capacity to deliver project outputs, adhere to deadlines, and maintain compliance with quality protocols.

β€’ Excellent time management capabilities.

β€’ Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

β€’ Client-focused and driven by results.

β€’ Self-motivated, innovative, and resourceful.

β€’ Legally permitted to work in the United States without current or future immigration assistance or sponsorship from Milliman.
