Manager 5, Strategic Sourcing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain global commodity strategies and sourcing roadmaps.

• Oversee supplier selection, RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, and negotiations for long-term agreements (LTAs).

• Propel supplier segmentation, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and corrective action initiatives.

• Achieve cost savings, avoid costs, and meet productivity objectives.

• Identify and address risks related to capacity, supply continuity, and compliance.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Research & Development teams for innovation and design-to-cost approaches.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supplier management.

• Proficient in supplier negotiations and developing global strategies.

• Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or another advanced degree.

• CPSM/CIPS or an equivalent certification.

• Experience in global, multi-site procurement.
