This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Assist in the implementation and ongoing support activities related to research-focused Electronic Health Record (EHR) solutions.
• Conduct surveys and site evaluations to determine the requirements for building, maintaining, and sustaining research studies.
• Collect, document, analyze, and monitor study-specific requirements, requests, changes in scope, and implementation necessities.
• Oversee REDCap databases, ensuring that project details, survey outcomes, study requirements, and status updates remain precise and up-to-date.
• Validate, organize, and cleanse project-related data to facilitate reporting and informed operational decision-making.
• Facilitate communication between researchers, study teams, VHA facilities, OSIRES personnel, and other relevant parties.
• Arrange meetings, create agendas, record meeting notes, track action items, and assist in follow-up activities.
• Create and manage trackers, status reports, requirement logs, and workflow documentation.
• Monitor the progress of study build and sustainment tasks, ensuring the timely completion of assigned responsibilities and milestones.
• Aid in the development and refinement of processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), job aids, templates, and additional operational materials to support program growth and standardization.
• Identify challenges, risks, and opportunities for process enhancement, assisting in the creation of effective solutions.
• Support stakeholder engagement and coordination efforts related to ongoing EHR deployments and sustainability initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Research Administration, or a related discipline.
• Over 4 years of experience in supporting program operations, healthcare operations, clinical research initiatives, EHR implementation, research administration, or similar activities.
• Practical experience with tools such as REDCap, including survey management, database upkeep, reporting, and data management tasks.
• Proficient in gathering requirements, maintaining tracking systems, coordinating stakeholders, and supporting operational workflows.
• Experienced in validating, documenting, organizing, and managing extensive datasets.
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service aptitude and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
