Management Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create monthly billing files for both Core and Ancillary billing processes.

• Reconcile cash accounts to pinpoint and resolve discrepancies.

• Manage customer refunds, cancellations, and chargebacks.

• Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

• Process deferred revenue, accruals, and prepayment journal entries.

• Oversee month-end closing procedures to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

• Track overdue accounts receivable amounts.

• Review, reconcile, and submit sales tax returns and payments.

• Assist in the annual audit process and collaborate with auditors during testing.

• Provide additional support to the Finance Manager as needed.

• Collaborate across multiple financial systems and work with US teams located in different regions.

• Aid in generating Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports, including variance analysis and commentary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

• At least 3 years of accounting experience.

• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, including the use of Pivot Tables.

• Experience with various software systems, including SAP and NetSuite.

• Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles.

• Knowledgeable in deferred revenue, accruals, and prepayment journals.

• Experience in handling inter-company transactions.

• Familiar with month-end responsibilities, including balance sheet reconciliations.

• Actively involved in the year-end audit process.

• Excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.
