Managed Services Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of daily delivery for various managed services customers, effectively balancing planned tasks, ongoing operations, and emerging priorities.

• Comprehend customer objectives, challenges, and operational contexts.

• Suggest and implement solutions that enhance customers’ utilization of Salsify.

• Set up and troubleshoot Salsify PXM along with related retailer workflows, accommodating complex or non-standard requirements.

• Assist with retailer portals and the Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN), managing issues until resolution.

• Oversee customer expectations and communicate updates and risks transparently.

• Offer feasible alternatives when requests exceed scope or when the initial approach proves ineffective.

• Ensure timely service delivery within the agreed-upon scope while fostering a positive customer experience.

• Collaborate with internal teams, including Product, to investigate issues, validate solutions, or pilot new service initiatives.

• Share insights and continuously enhance expertise in the platform, retailer processes, and customer use cases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of one year of practical experience with retailer portals such as Amazon Vendor Central, Target Partners Online, Home Depot IDM, or Walmart Supplier One.

• At least one year of experience working with GDSN.

• A minimum of two years of experience supporting enterprise clients during the launch or continuous operation of a platform.

• Capability to prioritize and deliver tasks for multiple customers simultaneously with minimal supervision.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make informed decisions when requirements are ambiguous.

• Ability to adapt when a proposed solution is ineffective.

• Effective communication with customers and sound judgment in managing project scope.

• Proficient in handling challenging conversations constructively.

• Preferred: at least one year of direct experience with Salsify PXM.

• Preferred: experience in piloting new service offerings or addressing complex custom configurations.

• Preferred: experience mentoring peers or disseminating knowledge across teams.
