This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the reconstruction segment of claims losses for insurance providers and facilitate swift claim resolution.
• Manage board-up, tarp assignments, contents, fire mitigation, and repairs up to $50,000.
• Assess the necessary extent of reconstruction and communicate the process to insured individuals.
• Examine loss and coverage details to ascertain if losses fall within policy limits.
• Confirm claim status with insurance providers.
• Collaborate with designated contractors to clarify job scope and update claims with relevant notes.
• Review invoices for proper scope and negotiate pricing as needed.
• Suggest reserve amounts based on exposure and provide advice on subrogation opportunities, potential fraud, or atypical underwriting risks.
• Work alongside public adjusters and attorneys to finalize claims.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries received via phone, email, fax, claim alerts, or electronic data interchange.
• Supply customers with technical product information.
• Accurately input claim data into databases and business applications.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and recommend process enhancements.
• Engage in training sessions and meetings.
• Foster professional relationships with insurance clients, insured individuals, colleagues, and contractors.
• Achieve assigned work schedules, productivity targets, and quality standards.
• Analyze claim situations and identify resolutions in alignment with business guidelines.
• Execute other assigned responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, or 3–4 years of experience in the insurance sector managing Property claims as a desk and/or field adjuster.
• Active Adjuster License is mandatory.
• Proficient in using the internet and knowledgeable in Windows applications such as Excel, Word, Teams, and other Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong capability to audit estimates and invoices.
• Exceptional negotiation and customer service abilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of property claim handling protocols.
• Advanced proficiency in Xactimate and Xactanalysis.
• Quiet, distraction-free, suitable work-from-home environment.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Competence in using technology devices, software, and applications.
• Prior experience with Microsoft Office Suites and fundamental computer skills is essential.
• Dependable high-speed home broadband internet connection with a minimum of 10 meg download and 1 meg upload speeds.
• Capability to connect to home internet via ethernet cable when working remotely.
