Major Sales Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to ongoing usage for enterprise clients.

• Coordinate proof of concept implementations for dbt Cloud Enterprise.

• Acquire 20 new dbt Cloud Enterprise customers annually (post ramp-up period).

• Lead and participate in team initiatives aimed at enhancing our sales processes.

• Collaborate with the product team to develop and uphold the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap.

• Attain expertise in SQL, dbt, and enterprise data operations.

• Actively engage as a member of the dbt open-source community.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of closing experience in technology sales, demonstrating a consistent ability to surpass annual quotas.

• Capability to comprehend intricate technical concepts and translate them into a consultative sales approach.

• Exceptional verbal, written, and face-to-face communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders across all levels of an analytics organization (from individual developers to CTOs).

• Strong diligence and organizational skills to manage lengthy and complex sales cycles involving multiple client teams.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous work environment.

• A commitment to being an inclusive team member and an active participant in the community.

• Familiarity with SQL or a willingness to learn.
