Major Gifts Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conducts research on potential donors and performs wealth screening to identify prospects for major gifts, planned giving, and leadership contributions.

• Develops relationship maps to illustrate connections among donors, alumni, board members, volunteers, and other key stakeholders.

• Leverages research, data, and AI tools to uncover new major gift donor opportunities and enhance fundraising strategies.

• Prepares donor briefings and meeting materials for fundraising personnel and volunteer leaders.

• Monitors recognition, reporting, and stewardship activities to ensure timely follow-up, acknowledgment, and reporting for donors.

• Maintains accurate donor information and engagement history in the CRM to facilitate effective cultivation and solicitation.

• Acts as the primary operations partner for designated frontline fundraisers.

• Assists in managing donor portfolios, including meeting preparation, follow-up tasks, and fundraising priorities.

• Provides calendar coordination, CRM assistance, donor research, and various administrative support to enable fundraisers to concentrate on donor relationships.

• Aids in moves management by tracking donor activities and subsequent steps.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising, prospect research, development operations, donor relations, or a related discipline.

• Proven experience in conducting prospect research, wealth screening, relationship mapping, or donor analytics.

• Familiarity with CRM systems and proficient in managing donor data.

• Strong skills in writing, organization, and project management.

• Comfortable utilizing AI and technology tools to enhance research, donor engagement, and fundraising operations.

• Capable of handling confidential information with the utmost professionalism and discretion.

• Residing in the United States and willing to travel up to 10%, including attendance at the National Speech and Debate Tournament each June.
