This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Lead and coordinate extensive and intricate sales cycles while collaborating with our internal partners and teams to optimally serve the customer.
• Utilize your consultative selling expertise to identify business challenges and devise solutions for prospects and clients.
• Gain an understanding of the competitive landscape and customer requirements to effectively position the portfolio of Palo Alto Networks solutions.
• Establish clear objectives and provide accurate forecasting by developing a comprehensive territory plan.
• Use prospect stories to craft a persuasive value proposition with insights specific to that account.
• Stay informed about industry news and trends, as well as their impact on Palo Alto Networks products and services.
• Travel as required within your territory and attend company-wide meetings.
• Experience and proficiency in SaaS-based architectures, preferably within the networking and/or security sectors.
• Proven track record in selling complex solutions, value selling, and/or employing consultative sales techniques.
• Technical aptitude to comprehend how technology products and solutions address business challenges.
• Ability to identify issues, analyze data, determine underlying causes, and offer scalable solutions.
• Foster relationships with our channel partners to implement a channel-centric go-to-market strategy for our customers.
• Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of the complete sales cycle and the proficiency to adhere to a structured sales process.
• Capacity to approach problem-solving holistically by understanding the broader context and considering complex interrelationships and outcomes.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently and self-directed.
• Proficiency in both English and German, with exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken.
