Major Account Manager – Public Sector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing providers in the German defense industry while understanding their changing security requirements.

• Proactively pursue new clients within the defense industry.

• Build and nurture strong partnerships with government agencies.

• Gain expertise in Check Point's cybersecurity solutions tailored for the challenges faced by the German defense sector.

• Manage forecasting, sales reporting, and ensure alignment with the company's public sector strategy effectively.

• Collaborate on cybersecurity events designed to meet the needs of the defense sector.

• Partner with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and successful implementations for public sector clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.

• Experience working with government entities, including procurement processes and compliance regulations.

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles within the context of the public defense sector.

• Ability to align security requirements with suitable solutions.

• Knowledge of qualification criteria and achieving closing targets.

• Proficient in resolving critical issues effectively.

• A relevant degree or advanced studies is preferred.

• Willingness to travel is required.

• Native German speaker with fluent English proficiency.
