This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Lead and manage extensive, intricate sales cycles while collaborating with internal partners and teams to optimally serve customers.
• Utilize consultative selling expertise to identify business challenges and devise solutions for prospects and clients.
• Analyze the competitive landscape and customer needs to effectively position the range of Palo Alto Networks solutions.
• Establish clear objectives and ensure precise forecasting by developing a comprehensive territory plan.
• Utilize prospect success stories to craft a compelling value proposition that highlights the specific account's benefits.
• Remain informed about industry news and trends, and their implications for Palo Alto Networks products and services.
• Travel as required within your territory and to company-wide meetings.
• Experience and knowledge in SaaS-based architectures, particularly within the networking and/or security sectors.
• Proven track record in selling complex solutions, employing value selling techniques, and/or consultative sales methodologies.
• Technical proficiency in understanding how technology products and solutions address business challenges.
• Ability to identify issues, analyze data, ascertain root causes, and deliver scalable solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with channel partners to implement a channel-centric go-to-market strategy for our customers.
• Demonstrated expertise in the entire sales cycle and the capacity to adhere to a structured sales process.
• Capability to adopt a holistic approach to problem-solving by grasping the broader context and considering complex interrelationships and outcomes.
• Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to operate autonomously and with self-direction.
