This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Lead and manage extensive and intricate sales cycles while collaborating with our internal partners and teams to optimally serve the customer.
• Utilize your consultative sales expertise to pinpoint business challenges and devise solutions for prospects and our clients.
• Comprehend the competitive landscape and customer requirements to effectively position the array of Palo Alto Networks solutions.
• Establish clear objectives and ensure precise forecasting by developing a comprehensive territory plan.
• Use prospect stories to craft a compelling value proposition, providing insights into value for each specific account.
• Remain informed about industry developments and trends, and their implications for Palo Alto Networks products and services.
• Travel as needed within your territory and attend company-wide meetings.
• Experience and understanding of SaaS-based architectures, preferably within the networking and/or security sector.
• Proven experience in selling complex solutions, value selling, and/or employing consultative sales techniques.
• Technical proficiency in understanding how technology products and solutions address business challenges.
• Ability to identify issues, analyze data, determine root causes, and offer scalable solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with our channel partners to implement a channel-centric go-to-market strategy for our customers.
• Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of the entire sales cycle and the capability to adhere to a structured sales process.
• Possess a holistic approach to problem-solving by grasping the overall context and considering complex interrelationships and outcomes.
• Strong time management skills, with the ability to work autonomously and with self-direction.
