This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Lead and manage extensive, intricate sales cycles while collaborating with internal partners and teams to optimally serve customers.
• Utilize your consultative selling expertise to identify business challenges, creating tailored solutions for prospects and existing customers.
• Gain insights into the competitive landscape and customer requirements to effectively position the range of Palo Alto Networks solutions.
• Establish clear objectives and provide precise forecasting by developing a comprehensive territory plan.
• Use prospect narratives to craft a persuasive value proposition that offers insights into the specific account's value.
• Remain informed about industry developments and trends and their implications for Palo Alto Networks products and services.
• Travel as needed within your territory and attend company-wide meetings.
• Experience and understanding of SaaS-based architectures, preferably within the networking and/or security sectors.
• Proven track record in selling complex solutions, employing value selling and/or consultative sales methodologies.
• Technical proficiency to comprehend how technology products and solutions address business challenges.
• Capable of identifying issues, analyzing data, determining root causes, and delivering scalable solutions.
• Build and nurture relationships with our channel partners to implement a channel-centric go-to-market strategy for our clients.
• Exhibits comprehensive knowledge of the entire sales cycle and follows a structured sales process effectively.
• Ability to adopt a holistic perspective in problem-solving, taking into account the broader context and complex interrelationships.
• Exceptional time management capabilities, functioning with high levels of autonomy and self-direction.
