📋 Description

• Establish the technical vision and long-term strategy for Feed Ecosystems.

• Mentor and guide the growth of your team.

• Collaborate closely with product, design, data science, safety, community, advertising, and platform partners.

• Supervise the design, development, and enhancement of machine learning systems.

• Assist in defining and operationalizing signals for both subjective and objective quality.

• Work alongside platform and infrastructure teams to create scalable AI-driven systems.

• Uphold high standards for system performance, reliability, efficiency, and ethical AI practices.

• Collaborate with our recruiting team to attract, interview, and hire a diverse and talented pool of machine learning engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of experience in building and managing high-performing machine learning or recommender-systems teams.

• Practical experience with large-scale production machine learning systems, preferably encompassing recommender systems, personalization, cold-start modeling, content understanding, or LLM-powered recommendation applications.

• Solid understanding of recommender systems, including candidate retrieval, ranking, value modeling, ecosystem dynamics, and assessment strategies.

• Capability to develop and articulate a clear and compelling technical strategy across ambiguous problem areas, balancing user relevance, community growth, content quality, safety, and business impact.

• Enthusiasm for creating scalable, well-architected, and responsible AI systems that enhance user value while promoting a healthy and sustainable content ecosystem.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical subjects to diverse audiences and build strong relationships with cross-functional partners.
