Machine Learning Engineer – Personalization

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Enhance personalized experiences across various products, domain verticals, and platforms.

• Boost business KPIs by validating personalization hypotheses.

• Investigate personalization strategies to achieve optimal business results.

• Model user interactions to deliver the best shopping experience.

• Design, implement, and sustain high-load real-time services.

• Partner with both technical and non-technical business stakeholders to develop and refine personalization capabilities.

• Collaborate with engineers within the Personalization team as well as across teams such as Ranking.

• Engage with stakeholders both within and outside the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience in applied machine learning.

• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and the big data stack for comprehensive ML product development.

• Proven experience in building, deploying, and maintaining personalization, recommender, or ranking systems in production environments.

• Familiarity with major public cloud platforms is an advantage.

• Experience in designing and analyzing A/B tests.

• Ability to deliver and articulate business value to stakeholders.

• Exceptional English communication skills.

• Experience working within cross-functional teams.

• Capability to delve into problems and provide actionable solutions.

• Ability to work autonomously and independently.

• Demonstrated proactivity.

• Eligibility to work as an independent contractor in the current country of residence.
