
Machine Learning Engineer – Kernels

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Create and implement tailored GPU/accelerator kernels to enhance performance.
• Analyze, benchmark, and refine essential ML workloads.
• Work alongside researchers to convert algorithmic innovations into effective, production-ready code.
• Keep abreast of hardware developments (CUDA, ROCm, TPU) to guide kernel design.
• Document and disseminate best practices for low-level optimization.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
• Over 2 years of experience in GPU programming, parallel computing, or systems-level optimization.
• Proficient coding skills in C++, CUDA, or comparable languages.
• Knowledge of ML frameworks and their underlying backends.
• Experience in optimizing workloads for distributed and heterogeneous computing environments.
• Familiarity with profiling tools and performance diagnostics.
