This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Work collaboratively with researchers to execute research operations utilizing established infrastructure.
• Analyze the quality of neural networks, including identifying failure modes and edge cases informed by research data.
• Stay informed about the latest trends in relevant research and technology.
• Collaborate with researchers to effectively communicate the status of experiments.
• Oversee multiple experiments simultaneously and provide timeline estimates for deadlines.
• Evaluate experimental outcomes and recommend theoretical or procedural enhancements.
• Compose technical reports that present both qualitative and quantitative findings for external stakeholders.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment.
• Capability to articulate complex technical concepts to colleagues and diverse audiences.
• A mindset of introspection, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail.
• A Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant discipline and/or over 5 years of experience in a directly related field (preferred, but not mandatory).
• Experience in reading research papers and applying the techniques discussed therein (preferred, but not mandatory).
• Background in computer vision and deep learning (preferred, but not mandatory).
