Machine Learning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Conduct experiments utilizing contemporary neural network architectures or techniques inspired by academic research.

• Create and implement machine learning perception solutions across new domains.

• Design and carry out experiments to assess R&D deep learning methodologies.

• Establish a production pathway for experiments yielding positive outcomes to enhance facility impact.

• Collaborate with project managers from the AI Data Team, ML modeling engineers, and Cloud infrastructure engineers.

• Act as a subject matter expert in experiment design and statistical modeling within the Software organization.

• Utilize experiment design and statistical modeling expertise for non-deep-learning projects as well.

• Contribute to the support and enhancement of ML infrastructure.

• Develop deep learning and other machine learning models, successfully deploying them to production.

• Engage in research and development projects focused on deep learning and computer vision.

• Guide models from conception to production deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, or an equivalent blend of technical education and professional experience.

• Over 3 years of experience in writing production-quality code in Python.

• More than 3 years of experience in implementing statistical models within production settings.

• Expertise in professional software engineering practices, encompassing coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operational workflows.

• Strong knowledge of PyTorch.

• Deep familiarity with experiment design and execution processes.

• Research proficiency in the deep learning domain.

• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.

• Capability to sit for extended periods at a desk and work on a computer.
