This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Initial Sourcing: Create the initial list of manufacturers and printers in the EU and US by utilizing searches, directories, marketplaces, LinkedIn, and AI automation tools (speed is essential).
• Deep Qualitative Vetting: Go beyond the surface. Analyze target companies' websites, social media presence, production capabilities, and ownership history to assess their credibility as partners or acquisition candidates.
• Ruthless Filtering: Refine the selection to a focused shortlist of 1–5 targets that genuinely align. The quality of judgment is significantly more important than quantity.
• Deal Briefing: Compose clear and concise rationales for each company on the shortlist, detailing what aligns, the strategic approach, and potential risks involved.
• Founder-to-Founder Outreach: Craft highly professional initial outreach messages for the CEO's review and oversee the response process.
• Future Growth: Over time, you will develop broader opportunity maps and industry analyses to pinpoint unique scaling prospects.
• Experience: Mid-level (3+ years) in a position that involves thorough qualification and prioritization of targets, such as M&A/Deal Origination, Venture Capital/Private Equity research, Buy-Side Research, or advanced Procurement/Strategic Sourcing.
• Sharp Business Judgment: The capability to quickly assess a small manufacturer and determine: "this founder would be interested in speaking with us" versus "this is unproductive."
• Research Mastery: Proficient online sourcing skills (LinkedIn, web intelligence, directories, registries).
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in utilizing AI, data tools, or no-code automation for the repetitive and rapid aspects of the role.
• Flawless English: Outstanding written English skills, with the ability to produce sharp, structured, and logical business summaries.
