This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Act as the primary functional authority for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central across designated modules and business sectors.
• Collect, evaluate, and document business requirements, converting them into functional designs and system configurations.
• Customize and configure Business Central to align with both business and client requirements, including workflows, posting setups, approval flows, and reporting.
• Oversee the management and deployment of Business Central add-ons and extensions, coordinating with vendors and internal teams for installation, testing, and rollout.
• Serve as the main liaison between business stakeholders and developers, translating functional needs into technical specifications and vice versa.
• Execute lighter-weight development tasks, including minor AL code alterations, page and field customizations, and report modifications as necessary.
• Support comprehensive testing, including functional testing, UAT facilitation, and defect resolution.
• Provide continuous support and troubleshoot issues for Business Central users.
• Engage in system upgrades, release management, and enhancement deployments.
• Develop and maintain functional documentation, user manuals, and training resources.
• Conduct end-user training sessions and promote the adoption of Business Central features and processes.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in a functional or techno-functional role.
• In-depth understanding of core Business Central modules, including Finance, Procurement, Sales, Inventory, and/or Supply Chain.
• Experience in managing and deploying Business Central add-ons and extensions, which includes vendor coordination, testing, and release management.
• Ability to collaborate with developers, comfortable in reviewing AL code, articulating technical specifications, and validating development outcomes.
• Familiarity with AL development, capable of carrying out minor customizations, page extensions, and report modifications independently.
• Strong knowledge of business processes, with the ability to map and redesign workflows within Business Central.
• Experience in facilitating UAT and supporting go-live processes.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of collaborating with both business users and technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification (MB-800 or equivalent) is a plus (NICE TO HAVE).
• Experience with Power BI reporting and integration within the Business Central environment is a plus (NICE TO HAVE).
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for managing development tasks and release pipelines is a plus (NICE TO HAVE).
• Experience with third-party ISV solutions and marketplace add-ons for Business Central is a plus (NICE TO HAVE).
• Previous experience in an AMS or managed services setting is a plus (NICE TO HAVE).
