This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Develop and oversee a distributor network by partnering with internal teams and transforming existing distributors into more efficient operations.
• Establish and nurture strategic relationships with key distributor and customer stakeholders to improve collaboration and service delivery.
• Identify and address operational inefficiencies through data-driven analysis, on-site evaluations, and the implementation of corrective action plans (CAPs).
• Enhance sales performance and support distributor product knowledge by devising targeted action plans, coordinating training sessions, and creating customer-focused proposals.
• Ensure compliance and effective communication throughout the distribution network by documenting activities in Salesforce, updating pricing/product information, and assisting with audits and quality initiatives.
• Travel frequently, approximately 50% of the time.
• Over 5 years of experience working with lubricant distributors – knowledge of industrial lubricants is preferred.
• Understanding of distributor operations and how distributors generate revenue.
• Familiarity with the essential functions of each distributor; possess a comprehensive understanding of distributor operations.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, including outstanding written, verbal, and presentation abilities to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• In-depth knowledge of distribution operations and the lubricants industry.
• Analytical, organized, and self-motivated mindset, combining critical thinking, time management, and emotional intelligence.
