LPC Resident in Counseling – Fee For Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Conduct telehealth sessions with clients.

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based mental health services.

• Work with a diverse range of clients, including couples and children.

• Assist clients in achieving measurable outcomes.

• Perform intakes and diagnoses according to the current DSM-5 under the supervision of a licensed professional.

• Establish a full caseload within 90 days of obtaining credentials.

• Collaborate within a clinical community.

• Engage in clinical supervision and monthly case discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Provisionally licensed candidates pursuing LPC licensure in Virginia.

• Approved by the board as a Resident in Counseling.

• Must be actively seeking independent licensure and residing in Virginia.

• Graduate of an accredited 60-credit hour program.

• Graduate or post-graduate experience in a counseling environment addressing depression and anxiety.

• Graduate or post-graduate experience independently conducting intakes and diagnosing in accordance with the current DSM-5 under a licensed supervisor (preferred).

• Available for a minimum of 25 sessions with a weekly availability of 30 hours.

• Behavioral health generalist willing to treat couples and children.

• Committed to aiding clients in achieving measurable progress.

• Proficient in using telehealth and EHR tools.

• A collaborative team player and positive contributor.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire.

• This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.
