Loss Control Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Deliver consultative services in Job Safety and Health to FCBI clients.

• Analyze loss data and provide statistical insights regarding loss trends and future loss potential.

• Conduct safety walk-through surveys to identify existing safety hazards and offer recommendations.

• Deliver Job Safety and Health training to customers through various formats, including classroom sessions and videos.

• Prepare written and verbal reports as necessary.

• Stay updated on current laws and regulations within the Job Safety and Health sector.

• Inform the manager and client underwriting about any significant changes in insured operations that may impact coverage or potential losses.

• Travel is necessary to fulfill job responsibilities; overnight travel may be required; occasional work during weekends and nights may also be necessary.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of two years of experience in general job safety and health.

• A college degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Workers’ Compensation Insurance and associated policy processing functions, particularly with experience in the State of Florida.

• Ability to work independently and self-direct with discretion and integrity.

• Show initiative and the capability to expand knowledge and experience in the loss prevention domain, especially concerning workers’ compensation claims and construction health and safety.

• Excel in a fast-paced environment while exhibiting strong teamwork skills.

• Proficient in computer skills and familiar with Office 365 tools.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
