This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop innovative concepts and produce long-form YouTube content targeting U.S.-based parents and teachers.
• Create narrative-driven video content that merges entertainment, education, and brand storytelling.
• Oversee the complete production and creative execution of a recurring YouTube content series.
• Investigate YouTube trends, creator formats, audience behaviors, and cultural moments pertinent to Epic’s audience.
• Write or assist in scripting, storyboarding, interview frameworks, and content outlines.
• Manage or coordinate production workflows encompassing pre-production, filming, editing, and post-production.
• Collaborate with internal teams, freelancers, creators, editors, and external production partners.
• Ensure content demonstrates a strong understanding of U.S. culture, parenting dynamics, humor, school settings, and online trends.
• Optimize videos for engagement metrics, including watch time, audience retention, click-through rates, and subscriber growth.
• Introduce fresh creative ideas, experimentation, and innovative storytelling techniques to enhance Epic’s YouTube presence.
• 4+ years of experience in YouTube content production, digital media, branded storytelling, or long-form video creation.
• Must be located in the United States.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating engaging long-form YouTube or digital video content.
• In-depth knowledge of YouTube platform mechanics, storytelling formats, pacing, hooks, thumbnails, and audience retention strategies.
• Experience utilizing AI tools to create and enhance video content, including AI-generated visuals, voiceovers, editing support, and creative ideation.
• Strong experience in designing captivating YouTube thumbnails and supporting graphic/social content optimized for clicks, engagement, and brand consistency.
• Experience creating content for U.S. parent, family, education, or lifestyle audiences is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of American culture, humor, trends, and social media behavior.
• Excellent storytelling, scripting, and creative development abilities.
• Experience managing production timelines and collaborating across creative teams.
• Ability to work independently while ensuring strong communication and accountability.
• Passion for education, literacy, children’s content, or mission-driven brands is a significant advantage.
