This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete international freight movement process, emphasizing operational aspects of ocean freight (FCL, LCL), container allocation, drayage, and delivery schedules from port to warehouse.

• Collaborate extensively with the Network Operations Center (NOC), Planning, Sourcing, and Operations teams to synchronize international shipping volumes with demand forecasts and warehouse capacities.

• Take ownership of and manage operational relationships with external third-party logistics providers (3PLs), freight forwarders, ocean carriers, and customs brokers to ensure high service levels and cost efficiency.

• Utilize network transit data and key performance metrics to detect carrier defects, route bottlenecks, or cost overruns within international transportation lanes.

• Perform regular operational reviews for leadership, offering insights into international transit performance, freight expenditures, and cross-functional optimization initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of practical experience in international freight operations, with candidates having less than 4 years considered only if they demonstrate exceptional qualifications.

• Proven experience in coordinating international shipments and overseeing daily freight operations.

• Capability to analyze operational data, pinpoint inefficiencies, and propose enhancements.

• Background in managing logistics projects or initiatives aimed at process improvement.

• Strong hands-on experience specifically in international ocean freight operations.

• Familiarity with FCL/LCL shipments, TEU/FEU management, and container allocation.

• Experience with US imports and transpacific shipping routes.

• Knowledge of drayage and coordination from port to warehouse.

• Exposure to air freight and other transportation modes.

• High level of proficiency in data analytics and advanced Excel capabilities.
