This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Saudi Arabia.
• Oversee the complete import procedures while ensuring adherence to local Saudi laws and regulations.
• Supervise intricate seaport operations and facilitate the smooth clearance of freight through land border customs.
• Utilize accurate Incoterms 2020 guidelines to reduce corporate risk and enhance shipping efficiency.
• Address customs delays, duty disputes, and documentation inconsistencies with relevant authorities.
• Navigate within a matrix organization to synchronize logistics with sales, procurement, and legal departments.
• Maintain precise tracking dashboards to offer shipment visibility to stakeholders across the region.
• Ensure that all regional operations comply strictly with international trade compliance regulations.
• Travel up to 20% of the time across the region to audit vendors and address operational challenges.
• Cultivate robust relationships with local freight forwarders, customs brokers, and port authorities.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in logistics and international trade.
• Demonstrated success in operating within an international or matrix corporate environment.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related discipline.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Saudi Customs systems (e.g., Fasah platform, ZATCA).
• In-depth understanding of sea freight documentation (Bill of Lading, COO, Commercial Invoice).
• Advanced proficiency in global Incoterms.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Possess a valid passport and a readiness to travel frequently within the Middle East region.
• Strong negotiation capabilities and the ability to thrive in high-pressure port environments.
