Logistics Coordinator – Contingent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +44 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee exceptions of live shipments via Cryoport’s web portal and email alerts

• Raise shipment exceptions internally to Logistics Managers

• Respond to and direct communications from clients and carriers within the organization

• Engage with carriers and clients throughout the shipment process

• Conduct follow-ups through both written and verbal communication

• Handle incoming calls and direct them to the relevant departments

• Facilitate the onboarding process for new clients

• Process and approve orders

• Conduct daily revenue audits to confirm accurate capture of shipment charges, services, and additional fees

• Work in collaboration with Finance and the Quote Team to address missing charges, billing discrepancies, and prevent revenue loss

• Follow up on revenue-related exceptions to ensure accurate billing and enhance revenue capture

• Regularly engage with Operations, Accounting, Management, Sales, and other internal units

• Execute administrative duties, including data entry

• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is mandatory

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook

• Minimum of 2 years experience in General Logistics management and Customer Service is preferred

• Required to work shifts from 8 AM to 5 PM PST, including weekends and public holidays

• Availability to work after hours and/or during weekends if necessary

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Consistent ability to meet deadlines

• Competence in listening, understanding, and assessing logistical issues

• Demonstrated initiative and commitment to fulfilling client expectations and requirements

• Ability to cultivate professional and supportive relationships with clients, vendors, and internal staff
