Logistics Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee exceptions related to live shipments via Cryoport’s web portal and email alerts.

• Report shipment exceptions to Logistics Managers as necessary.

• Manage and direct client and carrier communications within the organization.

• Engage with carriers and clients during the shipment process.

• Conduct follow-ups through both written and verbal communication.

• Handle inbound calls and direct them to the appropriate individuals.

• Facilitate the onboarding process for new clients.

• Input and approve orders as required.

• Regularly collaborate with Operations, Accounting, Management, Sales, and other internal departments.

• Execute administrative duties, including necessary data entry.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

• Be available for after-hours and/or weekend shifts when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook.

• Preferred experience of 2+ years in general logistics management and customer service.

• Results-oriented, detail-focused, and process-driven.

• Consistent ability to meet deadlines.

• Capable of listening, understanding, and assessing logistical challenges.

• Strong skills in both verbal and written communication.

• Demonstrated initiative and commitment to fulfilling client expectations and requirements.

• Ability to take proactive steps and develop innovative solutions.

• Skilled in fostering professional and supportive relationships with clients, vendors, and internal staff.

• Open to personal and professional growth opportunities.

• Availability for after-hours and/or weekend shifts when needed.

• Must be available for shift work from 8 AM to 5 PM PST, including weekends and public holidays.
