This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Assist Army logistics material management programs by overseeing supply management, conducting inventory analysis, managing warehousing, and implementing strategic initiatives.
• Perform research and analysis to assess material management operations, evaluate inventory performance, analyze supply chain efficiency, and identify emerging issues.
• Gather, consolidate, verify, and analyze data from various sources to aid executive decision-making and inform program recommendations.
• Create executive-level briefings, reports, decision documents, presentations, and other written communications that support Army logistics material management initiatives.
• Aid in the planning, coordination, and ongoing enhancement of warehousing, secondary item management, inventory control, and supply management processes.
• Coordinate actions and recommendations across various Army organizations and stakeholders to align with enterprise material management goals.
• Track project activities, milestones, deliverables, inventory trends, and action items to ensure timely completion.
• Organize meetings, working groups, and collaborative planning sessions, documenting decisions and monitoring follow-up actions.
• Transform complex operational and analytical data into actionable recommendations that enhance supply chain performance, material readiness, and overall organizational effectiveness.
• Design performance metrics, dashboards, and analytical tools to improve leadership visibility and facilitate informed decision-making.
• Assist with strategic planning, inventory evaluations, supply chain analysis, and enterprise modernization initiatives, as needed.
• Engage in business development activities, including market research, proposal assistance, solution crafting, and client interaction, as required.
• Undertake additional consulting, analytical, and project support tasks as assigned.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Public Administration, Management, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in supporting Army logistics, material management, warehousing, supply management, or other complex Government organizations.
• Experience in inventory management, supply chain operations, warehousing, logistics analysis, or conducting organizational assessments.
• Strong analytical abilities, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and experience with spreadsheets, databases, reporting tools, and collaboration platforms.
• Proven capability to gather, analyze, and synthesize information from diverse sources into succinct, actionable recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in developing executive-level briefings, reports, and presentations.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and effectively function within cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities in dynamic environments.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• This position necessitates an active Secret security clearance. Applicants must be U.S. citizens.
