Logistics Account Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the movement of incoming and outgoing freight while remaining informed about daily priorities and weekly transportation goals.

• Ensure that carriers adhere to company policies and procedures.

• Evaluate lane data, on-time performance, and costs to effectively negotiate rates with customers and third-party carriers, ensuring both profitability and customer satisfaction.

• Engage with brokers, carriers, and customers to address any discrepancies.

• Direct and organize logistics operations, including obtaining shipment rates, negotiating with logistics service providers, selecting 3PL partners, and tracking as well as expediting shipments.

• Verify and resolve any issues related to shipping or customs documentation, including but not limited to PODs, BOL, and carrier confirmation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, and/or Business is mandatory.

• At least 2 years of experience in the Supply Chain/Transportation sector is essential.

• Experience with FTL shipments is required.

• Knowledge of North American geography is necessary.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to quickly learn new software.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, coupled with the capacity to work effectively in a team setting.

• Advanced English language skills are a must.

• Candidates must be located in Bogotá.
