Lock Desk Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Handle rate lock requests within Encompass.

• Engage with requestors as necessary concerning rate lock inquiries.

• Manage requests for changes, repricing, and extensions.

• Support Loan Officers with inquiries related to post-lock files.

• Collaborate with Secondary Marketing leadership to execute system modifications, conduct testing, and enhance process flows.

• Provide assistance with system, product, and procedural questions.

• Deliver real-time training, propose process improvements, and offer support within Secondary Marketing and across various departments.

• Comply with and uphold rate lock policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent mix of education and experience.

• Minimum of 2 years in mortgage lending or equivalent coursework is preferred.

• Familiarity with Optimal Blue and Encompass systems is preferred.

• Experience in Secondary Marketing or Capital Markets is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail along with mathematical and analytical capabilities.

• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.

• Ability to work during Eastern Standard Time Zone hours to support the East Coast region.
