This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to pinpoint localization gaps and address translation challenges.
• Facilitate new translation agreements and oversee the complete delivery process of the Course Package Translation Service.
• Design, implement, and monitor translation quality initiatives.
• Assess localizability and localization workflow challenges, offering creative solutions.
• Create, document, and enhance standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Produce external documentation such as FAQs, blog posts, SOPs, and articles on Known and Fixed Issues.
• Support critical localization projects and initiatives.
• Utilize AI-driven tools for content generation, translation quality assurance, and workflow optimization while ensuring precision and compliance with AI governance.
• Generate, publish, and review content and media following technical writing standards.
• Oversee and maintain publishing queues; review, edit, and release external content.
• Evaluate trends in localization issues and time to resolution to generate actionable insights.
• Collect and analyze localization requirements with requestors and subject matter experts.
• Ensure the successful completion of course package translation projects and other localization requests.
• Cultivate vendor relationships to ensure project delivery on schedule and within budget.
• A 4-year college degree or 2-3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in human/machine translation and post-editing project management.
• Proficiency in at least one language other than English (Canadian French, Mexican Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Dutch, or Arabic).
• Familiarity with GitHub as a version control platform.
• Experience with Translation Management Software.
• Knowledge of content and learning management systems (CMS and LMS).
• Understanding of programming languages such as JSON, XML, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong skills in project management, technical writing, problem-solving, and customer support.
• Capability to utilize data tracking tools.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in managing vendor relationships and delivering projects within budget and on time.
