This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Evaluate, plan, and implement AbbVie programs that support treatment delivery for infused therapy offerings within the Gastroenterology business units.
• Identify and build business-to-business partnerships with local care sites, while developing and executing account/partner business strategies.
• Supervise the development, execution, and assessment of site-of-care strategy.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create, execute, and measure activities that enhance pull-through via coordinated business planning.
• Optimize site-of-care opportunities in line with product labeling, strategic objectives, and company policies.
• Achieve established MBOs.
• Offer therapy and clinical procedure overviews to designated site-of-care clients and collaborate with Medical Affairs.
• Identify deficiencies in current site-of-care networks and formulate strategies to broaden site-of-care options.
• Implement national partnership contracts at the local level.
• Create business cases for contracts and oversee execution to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Deliver ongoing access-related education, including coding and billing, and conduct quarterly business reviews.
• Stay informed on healthcare issues, customer trends, and best practices to build credibility beyond products and therapeutic areas.
• Act as the primary point of contact for sales, patient services, and reimbursement access functions.
• Assess, develop, monitor, and evaluate partnerships and business plans within assigned accounts.
• Foster and expand relationships with account stakeholders through a collaborative, results-oriented methodology.
• Prepare and present business presentations and reviews to clients and partners.
• Travel is required 70–75% of the time.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or medical industry.
• At least 2 years of experience with market access/site-of-care customer segments and reimbursement for infused products.
• Familiarity with commercial and government payers, billing, and coding practices.
• Direct experience in identifying and activating sites of care within infusion service areas.
• Experience with national or regional infusion service providers, specialty pharmacies, infusion management companies, or buy-and-bill physician practices.
• Ability to work autonomously and make decisions while recognizing when supervisory guidance is required.
• Comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and enforcement landscapes.
• Proven integrity in professional conduct.
• Innovative approaches and practices in account management.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify issues within higher-level policies and regulations.
• Excellent planning and organizational abilities to meet time-sensitive deadlines.
• Capacity to collaborate across functions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Capability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving criteria.
