Local Digital Marketer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Implement local digital marketing initiatives in alignment with regional marketing strategies, business goals, target demographics, budget constraints, and campaign schedules.

• Tailor regional campaigns for the Japan market by considering local consumer behavior, market dynamics, cultural nuances, language, and channel effectiveness.

• Assist with CRM/database management and collaborate on landing-page development with the global marketing team.

• Oversee and enhance paid digital campaigns across LINE, Yahoo! Japan, Google, and other global advertising platforms.

• Create and adapt ad copy, social media content, landing page content, email materials, and short-form video assets for local audiences.

• Generate leads through paid media, digital campaigns, landing pages, forms, and events.

• Collaborate with internal teams, agencies, designers, and external partners for content creation and campaign execution.

• Track and refine campaign performance using key metrics such as impressions, CTR, CPC, CPL, conversion rates, lead volume, and ROI/ROAS.

• Offer insights into local market trends, competitor activities, and strategic recommendations to the Marketing Lead.

• Compile regular reports on campaign performance, including actionable recommendations for improvement.

• Partner with the Marketing Lead to convert regional strategies into effective local actions.

• Liaise with the current contractor based in Japan.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in Japanese and strong professional English skills (fluency in English is essential).

• Proven experience in marketing to B2B audiences in Japan.

• Knowledge of Japan's digital advertising landscape.

• Preferred experience in the electronics, manufacturing, engineering, technology, or other technical B2B sectors.
