This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Assess and analyze financial documents, such as tax returns, bank statements, payslips, and company financials for full-doc, low-doc, and self-employed loan applications.
• Prepare and submit high-quality loan applications through industry-standard aggregator platforms to a diverse range of major Australian banks and non-conforming lenders.
• Oversee the entire loan lifecycle, from initial data entry and verification to pre-approval, formal approval, and final settlement.
• Communicate professionally with lenders, credit assessors, valuation firms, and solicitors to address policy inquiries, accelerate processing times, and meet outstanding conditions.
• Perform preliminary credit assessments and accurate borrowing capacity calculations in strict compliance with current Australian credit policies and responsible lending guidelines.
• Keep meticulous records and provide clear, proactive tracking updates to ensure the mortgage broker remains informed at every stage of the application process.
• Identify potential risks or strong mitigants in complex financial profiles (such as debt consolidation or non-conforming loans) to enhance the likelihood of approval.
• Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of dedicated Loan Processing experience specifically within the Australian mortgage broking sector.
• Industry Tooling: Proven experience working with Australian broker aggregator platforms (preferably Connective or similar software).
• Education: Degree qualified (Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field).
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial details clearly.
• PREFERRED SKILLS (nice to have): In-depth familiarity with the specific credit matrices of Australian tier-1 banks, tier-2 lenders, and specialist/non-conforming lenders.
