Loan Processor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Reviews loan files and collects any necessary items for final loan approval.

• Acts as a liaison among all operational and sales departments involved in the transaction.

• Orders supporting documentation as required.

• Assesses loan applications for reasonableness and escalates files for further evaluation when necessary.

• Prioritizes daily tasks to ensure an exceptional client experience.

• Manages a comprehensive pipeline of assigned loans, guiding files from signed disclosures through to closing.

• Demonstrates excellent communication skills with clients.

• Communicates with third-party vendors throughout the loan process to finalize applications.

• Ensures compliance with investor and regulatory standards.

• Proactively maintains the loan pipeline, tasks, and objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of mortgage processing experience in a retail environment.

• Possession of a Mortgage Loan Originator License.

• Familiarity with Conventional Conforming and Jumbo guidelines.

• Experience in the non-delegated lending space.

• Strong understanding of state and federal lending regulations.

• Extensive knowledge and comprehension of customer service and interpersonal best practices.
